I have had Old English Sheepdogs for over 35 years. I can't imagine having any other breed. They are the most loving family oriented dogs in the world. They all love to play with my children and go for truck rides.
I work from home so they are always with me. They follow me around the house when they are inside and when they are outside playing and get tired they like to sleep up on the screened in porch under the fan.
I am just a owner who has loved the breed forever and I like being able to share that love of OES with others. I am a hobby breeder that enjoys having a couple of litters a year to love and play with. Normally, in the spring and fall. There is nothing better than getting puppy love. I take great pride in the puppies we have for adoption. They are a part of our family. I always tell everyone that gets one of our puppies "this is your new puppy but it will always be my puppy". I feel that I have made the choice to breed my OES and with that choice comes responsibility. If for any reason the family that has adopted one of my puppies can not take care of it at any time in it's life then I will take the puppy/dog back and take care of it or find it a new home before the transition has to take place. I just want my puppies to have the best life they can possibly have and I will happily do my part in making that possible.
Stormie (above) retired to the Eastern part of North Carolina.
Sugar (above) was adopted by a loving family nearby.
We have rescued & rehomed several Old English Sheepdogs over the years. I am happy to say that we always found a great loving home for each and every one of them. If you know of an OES that needs to be rescued or rehomed please contact us or your nearest OES rescue group. They all need loving homes that can properly care for them.
This is Blossom & Eddie. Two dogs from one of my previous litters. Their family had to move away and Blossom & Eddie could not move with them. They now have a new home in Tennessee with a great new family.
Below is Moose. He was a rescue. He lived in Ohio and his owner could no longer take care of him because of her health. So, I arranged to pick him up and kept him for a couple of weeks until I found a great home for him in Kentucky.
